GIBS 2027 is Coming to Mumbai – Save the Date!
12th Annual Congress on Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome
28th & 29th August 2027
THEME : Phenotype, Pathways & Precision in IC/BPS
@Mumbai, Venue to be Announced Soon
Dear Doctors
Greetings from Mumbai!!!
For over a decade, GIBS has brought together the brightest minds in urology, gynecology, pain medicine, and patient care to tackle one of the most misunderstood conditions in medicine Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome. In 2027, we return to where it all began Mumbai, for our 12th Annual Congress, and this time, we’re going deeper than ever before.
This Year’s Theme, Phenotype, Pathways & Precision, reflects where the field is headed: away from one-size-fits-all treatment, and towards individualized care built on a true understanding of each patient’s unique disease pathway. It’s about asking better questions. Who is this patient, really? What’s driving their pain? What will actually work for them? and building the clinical tools to answer them with confidence.
Why You Should Be in the Room
IC/BPS remains one of the most under-recognized, under-treated, and under-discussed conditions affecting patients today often leaving both clinicians and patients searching for answers. GIBS exists to close that gap.
Since its founding in 2016 by leading urologists Dr. Rajesh Taneja and Dr. Sanjay Pandey, GIBS has grown from a single conversation about “basic understanding” into India’s and one of the world’s most respected platforms dedicated exclusively to this condition. Every year, we’ve pushed the conversation forward: from practical guidelines, to global collaboration, to compassionate, patient-centered care. GIBS 2027 continues that journey with a sharper, more precise lens.
Whether you’re a urologist, gynecologist, pain specialist, researcher, nurse, or physiotherapist working with pelvic pain patients, GIBS 2027 is built for you.
Two Days. One Mission.
IC/BPS doesn’t wait, and neither should we. Join Clinicians, Researchers, and Medical Practitioners from around the world as we work together to move the field from guesswork to precision one phenotype, one pathway, one patient at a time.
Mark your calendars for 28th & 29th August 2027. The venue details are coming soon, so stay tuned and get ready to be part of the conversation shaping the future of bladder pain care.
